PRESCHOOL 3's

Preschool 3's must be 3 by September 1, 2011 and potty trained. We want to help our students become enthusiastic learners through purposeful play and exploration. Our curriculum is designed to allow each student the opportunity to experience a nurturing environment, establish trust, make friends and develop cooperation skills. As educators, our aim is to help your child experience pride and self confidence, develop independence and self-control, and have a positive attitude toward life and school.

A Typical Day for 3's

* 45 minutes in the gym to develop motor development, tumbling and group games along with following directions and interacting with friends.

* Circle time in the classroom: greetings, calendar, weather, group interaction, reading, music, introduce the theme/lesson for the day/week and Spanish/Sign language.

* Centers: literacy, math

* Snack and free play

* Art/Science lesson which is related to the weekly theme

*Clean up

* Ending circle: music, language, reading, group interaction, wrap-up

* Pack up and say goodbye.
